The "Not Gonna Write You a Love Song" Girl

I think that I'm correct when I say that everyone in the USA has heard this song at least a thousand times since it came out, which was only a few freaking weeks ago. It's on literally 10 times a day on the radio and everyone sings it. I'm sick of it.

Is anyone else sick of Streisand?

I'm tired of hearing Barbra Streisand just because she's on her fourth "farewell" tour. She's too in-your-face with her politics and whatever singing talent she once had has gone gone gone.

Timberlake=pants

It's fitting that all of these DJs making their livings playing canned fart sounds and robot voices are totally in love with Justin Timberlake. No wonder ADD and teen depression are on the rise when radio stations are spoon-feeding this kind of tripe to our nation's youth.

Add this guy to the "every song sounds the same" category.

Every so often an artist or band comes around that hits it big but then fades away when people realize that all of their songs sound the same. At the moment, that honor goes to James Blunt. Following other past notables such as Hootie and the Blowfish, the Counting Crows, and Gin Blossoms, his first album has sold a bunch and is getting TONS of airplay -- way too much in my opinion -- but I am already sick of hearing his whiney voice. After listening to some of his other songs, I have no doubt that he will be whisked away like so many other artists who hit it big but then disappear when people realize you can't tell one song from another. read more ...

Gnarls Barkley is driving me Nuts.

So I first heard of Gnarls from the CMJ website and upon first listen liked the Crazy song well enough. However it seems that within a matter of 2 months, everyone is singing it and you hear it on every kind of radio station. It seems to be playing continously and I can't take it any more. At least rotate to something else from his album!
