Plugged In - Please Play Here!

It sucks when a band you love schedules a tour that doesn't come to your hometown. Have someone you really want to see in your town? Let 'em know here.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban should do more shows in the Northeast! I mean, he wines & dines Nicole right here in Woodbury, CT, but only plays in CT once in a great while. That's not right. He should have done a few more shows here in the Northeast. Forget Germany....America is his bread & butter. He should give more back. I'm just saying...

When will U2 go back on tour?

I'm sure they won't be coming to play anywhere near me (in Iowa), but I'm willing to drive a long way to see Bono and the rest of U2. I heard that there going to play in Hawaii but that's waaaaay too far to drive. If they can make it to Chicago, though, I'm in.

Flaming Lips: Please come to Hartford!

I would totally go to see the Flaming Lips if they came to Hartford, CT. It's easy for bands to avoid Hartford since New York and Boston are so close, but there are plenty of fans who would be willing to drive the 20 minutes to the Civic Center but not an hour and a half to either of the major cities.

Besides, Wayne Coyne is a god. I would love to see him walk out into the crowd in his plastic bubble.

Bruce Hornsby

Bruce is the king of live performances since he takes requests from the audience. He's playing in smaller venues and sometimes I have to travel quite a ways to go to his gigs. Please come back to Connecticut!

Gang of Four, please come to New Haven

Gang of Four is by far my favorite 80's band. They had great lyrics, an amazing ryhthmic quality to their music, and after all these years are still highly relevant to what is going on in music. Sadly, when they were big, I was tiny, and I've never seem them live. They did do some shows last year, but I wasn't able to get to any of them. Gang of Four, if you come to New Haven, I promise I'll fill any venue you perform in!
