I've waited my whole life to go see Eric Clapton and when I finally got my chance I left the show completely broken hearted. i should have known it was going to be bad when entering the show the girl next to me was complaining about all the "middle-aged losers everywhere. Now, I'm 27 and she was about my same aged and all I could think was if not for all these middle aged losers ther would be no Eric Clapton.
Anyway, the concert was at Madison Square Garden. My seats were better than I expected and I ws soooo happy to be there. But everybody around me was rude. I tried too talk to the people around us and got didrty looks. No one got on their feet. The woman behind me was actually sleeping. I wanted to DANCE! but i felt uncomfortable even standing where I was because I would have been the only one- so I went down into the isle to shake my booty for a min. :O) Well, aparently this is not allowed. Security told me to go back to my seat. So I did and was I explaining to my boyfrend what happened and the guy infront of us yelled at us and told us to "get a life and shut the fuck up". I guess while I was dancing the kids with him were pickin on me for it. Which is fine. I know what I look like when I dance. :O) But my boyfriend said to them that I was just a super huge fan and was tryin to have fun too. to which the kid said "yeah, I'm a fan I have his CD." I hope I don't have to explain how stupid that is. So after being screamed at by that guy we left. EARLY. I left Eric Claptin EARLY. In tears. Didnt even stop too get a Tshirt. I guess now I know that in order too be around tru fans and be able to get on your feet and have a good time you have to pay $3000 for floor tickets. Not that it matters. I won't go there for a show again.
No dancng alowed???
