Had a great time at the Honda Center last night - Billy Joel! This is about the fifth time we have seen him, and the shows continue to be high energy, entertaining, and loaded with good music. The musicians were spectacular, esp. the sax player. The good thing about Joel is that not only does he appeal to a number of age ranges, but he has a good sense of how to work an audience. The seats were great - thanks to Ticket Liquidator. About 200 feet from the stage on a straight-line, and two over from the aisle. Joel had a bit of a late start, which he always seems to do, but made up for it with around 2.5 hours of solid music. I like that he doesn't use an opening act - you come to see him - you get ---- him! The place was packed, the audience knew the lyrics to most of the songs - Zanzabar is tough for anyone! If you haven't seen him in concert, and get the chance, it is worth every dollar!
