making t shirts

i've made my own tshirts before. there are a couple ways to go about it. you can get iron on paper for your printer, then just make up your design, print it and iron it on. it's very quick and easy but the iron ons fade out in the wash after about 20 washes or so. you can also get a do-it-yourself screen printing kit. this is more work, but still manageable. if you go the screen print route depending on the types of ink you use it'll last much longer. if you are making shirts for a bunch of people, you can make an iron on prototype and then take the design to a screen printing shop and they'll make some for you. i would recommend this if you are doing 20 or more.
