Meet Our Distinguished Columnists

Plugged In is all about fans and audience members getting together to talk about what we've seen, and sometimes with a community this big and diverse, it helps to bring a bit of outside perspective to the discussion.

So we went out and found a crackerjack team of writers and tasked them with analyzing our conversations and drawing conclusions. That team has become our panel of regular columnists. They're smart, they're funny, and they each possess an infinite supply of opinions and sage observations about the entertainment industry.

Think you can do a better job of it? Send us an email. We're always on the lookout for new columnists to add to our team.

James Plankton

James is a man on a mission. What is that mission?

He's not sure.

What he is sure of is his love for the sporting life and all its trappings. Each month this jet-setting tough guy reports back to us with an in-depth look at sports both domestic and international.

In his free time, James enjoys water skiing and homemade jam & jelly competitions.

Nick Adams
Nick AdamsKey Notes

Nick Adams has been playing piano since he was a toddler. He has yet to make any money doing so.

Despite his apparent lack of marketability, Nick Adams maintains an almost terrifying appetite for all things musical, and has become an expert on Norweigan horn composition and funk kazoo arrangment.

Each month Nick tells it like it is so the rest of us can pretend to be music snobs, too.

When he's not writing for us or playing piano, Nick plays other instruments.

M.H. Archer
M.H. ArcherTouch of the Poet

Ms. Archer has been a theater afficionado since she first saw a live production of Sesame Street in 1978.

With her preference for Irish writing and English acting, there's no denying that M.H. has a keen eye for quality when it comes to performance.

Each month this sassy thespian brings us a little piece of the drama behind the dramas and the comedy within the comedies. When she's not on or near 42nd Street, M.H. works on the millionth draft of her never-to-be-published manuscript.

Cecelia Paluch
Cecilia PaluchBroadcasting

In the truest sense of the word, reporter Cecilia Paluch casts her net over all realms of the entertainment industry. She's a commentator, editorialist, tipster and taleteller; spinning a web of intrigue around the issues of the day.

From celebs to concerts and all things between, Cecilia's interdisciplinary writing stems from a severe case of Adult ADD.

In her spare time she wrestles baby tigers and takes cello lessons, all in an attempt to achieve the status of a true Renaissance woman.
