You just know Paris had something to do with this. Here are my top five theories on how:
1. Paris Hilton and Travis Barker become entangled while filming a home movie. Barker falls off the bed and breaks his arm.
2. Paris Hilton runs into Katie Sheraton. The namecalling starts. Travis Barker defends Paris's honor and injures himself in the process.
3. Travis Barker, distracted by Paris Hilton, neglects to stretch prior to playing the drums, something he hasn't done in years despite listing "Drummer" as his occupation on his Stop & Shop card registration.
4. Travis Barker tries to get "I love Paris" tattooed on his arm. Unfortunately, his arm fails under the strain of one tattoo too many, and he ends up with only "I love Par" on his broken limb.
